My name is Carl Stockmal, and I own Yuba-Sutter Telephone Company.  We’re a   contracting company based in Yuba City, now in our 10^th year of serving the local community.  We specialize in communications and audio/video systems.

It’s surprising to us that many brand new homes have wires running around the outside.  It seems that many installers don’t even try to conceal their wiring, as if they’re proud of that black cable running around your white house and down the wall before it enters the room.  We think that’s ugly and unprofessional.  We hide the wire as much as possible, both for aesthetics as well as the fact that wire inside the walls and attic is less likely to be damaged by outside elements.
